Sircovics, Roll, Hopfer and Mercer Are Out With Minor Hurts Injuries are forcing some changes ito be made in the lineup of the JBloomsburg State Teachers College Huskies for Saturday's Home Coming ay game with the powerful Mansfield jeleven here Saturday. k Captain Sircovics is out with a rib jury. Roll with a shoulder bruise, on Hopfer with a leg bruise and Mercer with other injuries. Mercer was not used at Lock Haven on Saturday and none are expected to be ready for duty on Saturday, Coach Austin Tate said last night. "Red" Dixon, Hazleton boy shifted Lo tackle, did fine work there at Lock Haven and will be kept at the point. Working with him at tackle yesteriay was Lipfert while Henrie, a Berwick boy, is at Roll's position at guard. In order to develop some speedy jguards for the emergency, Coach Tate (has placed Andy Giermak, of Wilkesp??arre, an end, and Sofilka, a St. Clair boy, a back, at guard positions on the second team and will send them withj the B squad to Selinsgrove this after-! noon to gain experience in the contest with Susquehanna B team. As the varsity lined up yesterday .Johnson was at left end, Dixon at left tackle, Henrie at left guard, Kirk at i center, Camera at right guard, Lipfert at right tackle, Zeleski at right end, Rosati at quarter back, Blass and Jones at half backs and Laubach at fullback. Mansfield has one of its best teams in years. It held St. Thomas to a 13 to 0 score in the opener and last Saturday shellacked Edinboro Teachers 28 to 0. Bloomsburg will have its work cut out Saturday afternoon. Coaches George C. Day, the Huskies are hoping that the! first victory ball on the program willfe be the one to be dropped from the; sky at 2:30 o'clock. A few jweeks ago in the opening engagement for the two varsities, staged on the field, Susquehanna was on top, 21 to 7. j The only difference in the two con-1 tests was that the Crusaders in the [varsity enggaement had to build their Imargin in the second half while theiri (second stringers got their scores be-1 fore the Husky Cubs and thus did not! have to worry so much over the outcome.The Bloomsburg boys yesterday escaped a shut out in the last period when Maza, an end broke through to block a Susquehanna punt deep in Crusader territory and Monahan jgathered up the ball and raced a I short distance to the goal. Strauser???at pacement kick for point was block-* ed. The Crusaders reserves tore up and down the field at the start and got an earned touchdown in the first period. In the second quarter one of the Selinsgrove boys grabbed a Husky pass and raced forty yards for a score. One extra point was added and it was 13ii to 0 at the half. In the last quarter the Crusaders clicked on a long forward, good for twenty-five yards and a lateral for 15 more and a touchdown. Coach George C. Buchheit and ???Whitey??? Moleski took the Husky Cubs to Selinsgrove. There were nineteen athletes in the Bloomsburg party and all took part in the earn**
