miss john elected president day girls at teachers college ivi^' miss {catherine john, daughter of mr. and mrs. earl west third street, last night was presented as the new president bloomsburg teachers college day girls' association, first girl ever to hold office while violet ! brown, carlisle, is presidentelect waller hall association. officers both groups j were at annual he-she jl party, all-woman affair an i feature college. yesterday big year for women, their program social affairs, opening with a tea in late afternoon being followed by dinner pushed men institution into background. party always that girls look forward it never finer event than evening guests having splendid time. during intermission dance | each received corsage, retiring similar gifts dinner. flowers charge eleanor morris, audrey : fleming, katherine durkin, miss; isabelle rough. are: worn- en's association—miss ethel a. ran- som, sponsor; kathryn bloomsburg, president; sara shuman, vice presi-1 dent; two senior representatives— 'i betty harter, nescopeck; frances riggs, bloomsburg; junior representatices mary helen mears, ruth smeth- ers, berwick; sophomore representa- tives—miss dorothy sidler, danj ville; margaret graham, bloomsburg. freshmen representatives will be selected end semester next year. officers: dr. marguerite kehr maude kline, sponsors; honorable mention—miss martha breece audrey fleming, violet brown marjory thomas; most handsome man—miss anna jean laubach, berwick; mention —miss bowman, wilimenia hayes, thelma moody, rosebud golder, grace welliver, miriam hepner, helen ammerman, frey, mill camille schalis; best looking couple—miss anne frances rutter, northumberland virginia breitenbach, catawissa; alice auch june davies, bowman bernice bronson. eleanor morris iris payne. irene frederick flannigan; original margaret graham, bloomsburg, beaver, danville;
