Description	Letter sent from Robert Alexander Lowry (Gan) to his sister Margaret Judson Lowry from Camp Betty Black, Va., January 26, 1862. The letter describes some of the food that Gan and his brother received as a gifts from their family. Gan also expresses frustration at having little to do so far in the war. He and his brother have been in the same place for nearly a month at this point.
